Iskcon Temple, Bangalore
Review:
//Okay before reviewing this place, I want you all to know that I am an atheist so I won’t be commenting upon the dedication to god, aastha, bhakti etc. I would only be telling about the aesthetics of this place. And please don’t get offended if I don’t know the correct names.//

So I started off my ride from a hotel in Yeshwantpur Bangalore to the Iskon Temple, (the temple is having its own timing so if you are visiting this place make sure that you visit this place at correct time). As I reached the temple I was directed to the shoe counter where you had to remove your shoes (cause it’s a temple, if you don’t know already -_-). After that just before the stairs you had water running down so that you can wash your feet. Climbing the stairs and enjoying the beautiful view, I reached the temple. There was a padded way to reach the temple and I was supposed to say “hary Rama hare Krishna” while I took each step (I saw a few people not doing that, so they were scolded by the authorities over there ). Chanting Hare Rama Hare Krishna I reached the 1st Idol (Yea the Krishna Idol was really beautiful) and then the second place where about 3 Idols were kept (sorry guys I just don’t know their names). After the darshan, there were 2 exits. One was for the regular visitors which was a direct exit whereas another one was those who wanted to do shopping and stuff. So I took the second one and was directed towards the shops. Well there were shops for sweets, souvenirs, idols, books, CD roms etc. (get the sweets if you go there, they are marvelous). After all the shops I was directed to place where I got “Kichdi ka Parsad”. After all this I even found 1 or 2 restaurants over there, they were pretty good, cheap and expensive at the same time and yes the food over there was tasty. Taking about the aesthetics, it was one real good place, calm and soothing.
