Bannerghata National Park, Bangalore
Review:
I took the bus for the national park form Christ University Kengri campus and it took me about one and a half hour to reach there. The bus service in Banglore is really good (and probably that is why BMTC has achieved 3 prestigious awards) and its expensive too it costed me around 80 rupees to reach there. I actually had quite high hopes from the national park which has a biological reserve too, but as soon as I reached there I cried with disappointment. When I got in the park all I could see was the litter, shops and people in the huge amount. At the entrance toy shops and food stalls were there with people going crazy behind them. After it I found the queue for the tickets, while I wanted to grab tickets for the safari (that was about 280 rupees) they were already sold out!! Boom then I was left with the zoo tickets only that costed me about 80 rupees. Then I visited the zoo. The zoo was nothing special but you can find some endangered birds in the zoo which is not that common. But yea like any other zoo you can find people disturbing animals and making fun of them (yea call me judgmental cause I was judging them). Cages for the animals were not that small so I was not that much disappointed with it. Not only the cages were of satisfactorily size but the overall size of the zoo was also big. There were boards too in front of each cage which gave you a brief idea about the animal origin, diet, weight, sexual maturity etc.  The zoo had some other insights too like a video theater which played an animal documentary, a golf kart kind of ride (If you are a lazy ass and just don’t wanna walk, the kart is best thing for you) and a butterfly park too. The aesthetics of the zoo are pretty good and you will love to stay there. I don’t know much about the safari but yea I can tell you that would also be not that good.
